My love for Free Little Libraries has reached new heights, as my stepdad handcrafted a FLL for my 29th birthday! I had the limiting belief that because I wasn’t a homeowner, I couldn’t have a FLL (yet, in due time!) Well, with just a little thinking outside the box, I am now a docent and steward to my very own library. Stellar!
To do her justice, I will be hosting a grand opening, ribbon cutting ceremony with my friends and family to christen her! In the meantime, I have been collecting tons of books that have naturally flowed to me. My living room is filled to the brim with teen novels- I am grateful to have an overstock of books so that I can always replenish this library (and others) as I continue enjoying the culture of #freelittlelibrary. Many of my favorite books have come from a FLL, including the The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society at a RV stop in Lassen Volcanic NP in 2016. Ever since this encounter, I have thoroughly enjoyed being an advocate for the concept and would love to help YOU install your own FLL, so please email us if you have any questions!
